There was actually a guy, here in Redding, that got ticketed for driving while using a cell phone that was doing that same exact thing with a sweat band. He actually went to court and fought the ticket. He went as far as showing the judge his "hands free device," in court.

I tired a $40 dongle from Best Buy. It was their "Rocket Fish" store brand and it was absolute junk. It was a Class 2 transceiver, but really only worked when I was right on top of the computer. The drivers wouldn't load properly with Vista 64 and caused repeated crashes.
I returned it and ordered a Cirago Class 1 dongle from New Egg for $22 shipped 2nd day. All of the reviews on the website were positive and many reported it working well with Vista 64.
I'll keep you guys posted.
