Default F-35 flips on take-off

Amazing bit of flying. The pilot has ice water in his veins.

Look above the jet. You can just barely make out a gamer tag.

Also, look in the two lower corners...

About getting your attention, ponytail.

I hope it is a video game. A real pilot would get in big trouble.

Video game.

Wasn't there a Soviet fighter that could 'stall', do a pirouette to change direction, and recover?

Aw, that sucks. I thought this was the world's best flying. Oh, well. ....

I know there are biplanes that can stall, spin and recover. I am not sure about jets, not a lot of wing surface to work with.

I think this is the jet, if not the exact manuver I was thinking of. 3:00 video:

Default Sukhoi Su-27

The Sukhoi Su-27 could do the Pugachev's Cobra. I do not think it would stall but it was a very high angle maneuver that could slow the plane down very slow. I have seen F-/A-18s do the high alpha stunt too. Problem is you are going real slow!

As far as my Avatar Just keep you boots on! you never know when there will be an alert!
