Default Explaining the Master Plan

I've started an AR build thread, and a build is underway as we speak.

The completed AR will be a component of a much larger idea.

You see, I'm a James Bond fan.

I contemplated what Bond would use as a rifle, and came to the conclusion that in the real world, he would need something NATO compatible, but an off the shelf M-4/AR/M-16 just wouldn't do. Bond has a Q Branch, his stuff would be custom. Hence, the build.

I've also concluded that I'm getting old. At 45, bruises last a week that used to be gone in 3 days.

But since I was about 8, I wanted to be Bond.

So I'm doing it.

So how does this work?

I've purchased a tuxedo.

I've made a list of every crazy thing Bond has done on film.

I will do these things, but in a tux. And I will document them.

Indeed, this has begun already, but the completed build, and the range day with it, will be my start point for forum purposes.

I had never been to a casino. Well that's pure Bond.

I packed up the Missus, put on the tux, and played at a blackjack table, winning a hand, and then losing a hand.

And I have to tell you, just for a minute, I actually felt like Bond.

Eff u, Daniel Craig!

Well done. Just be very safe at it and use common sense.

I've already looked at skydiving, suprisingly affordable. When I can pull this off, you guys will see it done.

If anything is stirred, you are in trouble.

I've never been on skis.

I've got the one day ski pass budgeted, and that is actually where the vodka martini comes in.

There will be pictures.

In a tux....
