Yogurt is a live bacteria culture that will grow mold if there are spores present (see the pic someone else posted) but the molds are generally harmless to most people. I have eaten expired yogurt and many other foods and I'm still here. Then again I have grown my own yogurt cultures from scratch too.

No, I generally throw things away before the expiration date and I won't eat most foods two days after it has been cooked.
