Because they’re pathological. Normal rules don’t apply.

Well, I was the one who had to walk all the way to the tv to change the channel. I was the youngest in the family and we always gotta do everything.

Hmmm.......that's another thing I hate and my ex used to do it. He would talk loud in public and look around to try to see who was listening or if he could pull in someone else into the conversation.

true story. when i lived at home, many, many years ago, changing the channel involved going outside and a huge pipe wrench. my father when he put up our tv antenna, it had a motor on it, that would rotate it to a different direction to pick up different channels. now we lived in avery rural area and we only could get three or four channels at most. but the motor went out, and to change directions to pick up another station, one of us would go outside and use the pipe wrench to rotate the mast. dad would holler when it came in clear enough. that Christmas i got some walkie talkies, boy i knew what i was going to use them for!

Maybe he meant they attacked him with bear hands?

liars need to tell more lies to cover the ones they have already told. it becomes such a vicious cycle at some point they can't even remember which lies they have told to who and which one is the newest to cover the oldest.

most pathological liars i have seen in the past, would rather tell a lie, even if the truth would have saved them. they just can't help themselves. they do it as easily as most of us breathe. they see no wrong in their telling lies and when on a forum conversing with people who don't know them personally it's much easier for them to tell their tales.

i have noticed they will avoid a thread when it calls them out or they tend to hedge and crawfish when confronted with the truth or their lie is being exposed. when asked for proof or facts to support what they are claiming, there is always some excuse or reason they can't and many times those reasons are just as outlandish or as unrealistic as the the lie they told.
