Default Erica's Final Ride.

A young lady from our small town was killed in Afganistan last week by a roadside bomb. They brought her home yesterday. This was her last ride.

I receive a feed on facebook of DoD notices and haven't seen hers yet. but my sympathies go out to her and her family and friends. It is hard to lose Soldiers/friends/family members. I honor her and her ultimate sacrifice. Godspeed Erica.

oh and to String1946 love the profile pick of the Thud. A plane so ugly is beautiful. They could use a few of them in Afganistan.

String,

Thank you for sharing this with us! As always being a vet, it brings tears to my eyes! God no doubt has a special place for America's Heroes like Erica! As well as those who serve and those like her that have given the ultimate price for us here at home and our Freedom. May God bless her and her family. And may she know that she is a true hero in our eyes! I understand she was one of the 6 that got killed in that incident.
