Nitrox recently did a project on a CZ-82 that turned out gorgeous.

These are great guns, and the best deal in the C&R world, with only two drawbacks; magazines are hard to find cheap, and they're almost always scuffed up, from apparently reliable use.

I want to hook one up, but what finish?

One for pink. Really?

I like matte black.
Sometimes the different colors can end up looking a little cheesy. Especially on a milsurp. Just my opinion

If not black maybe a dark charcoal grey, something similar to parkerizing.

I'm going to repaint my AR, just the receiver. When I put it together, I needed to tape it to keep from marring the finish. Not having any masking tape handy, I used a one of those sticky sheets from a lint brush roller thingie. It left some residue behind wherever I had taped it.

I ordered black semi-gloss from Duracoat. I'm nervous about the semi-gloss and thinking I should have ordered matte....but oh well.

I'll post before and after photos.

I also ordered the kit from Brownell's to replace all the springs in the receiver. I might have munched a couple up when I put the thing together. Might as well replace them, since I'll have it all disassembled.
