For me currently just lineup a half dozen S&W revolvers and I'll be happy. A 19, 586, 627, 29, 625 and a 27 would about do it.

M1 Garand.
Broom Handle Mauser.

Could have bought these at one time.

M1 Garand, Israeli Mauser with good bore, FN FAL, M1A, Yugo M70 AK, Ballester Molina, and a M91 Mosin Nagant SA and WWII German capture markings. I've had two of these get past me already.

A Krieghoff shotgun for field work.
A Korth revolver in .357 Magnum.
An Anschutz rifle in .22 Long Rifle.
A Barrett in 50BMG for fun.
And one each of the offerings from Ed Brown.

Henry lever action in .357 mag, and matching revolver and lever action in 45-70 or .454 Kassul, I'd die a happy man

My first 5 years of firearms purchases (1971-76) I was able to put together a dream roster:
Marlin 336C, Marlin Model 60, Ruger Mark I, P08 Luger, Colt Series '70 Government Model, S&W Model 19 and Remington 870.

Went dormant for quite a while but have added AR, AK, Hi-Power, Cimarron/Uberti SAA, S&W 5906, Glock 40S&W so have most of the bases covered.
The biggest issue with assembling an AR isn't so much getting the parts together right - it's getting the right parts together.

Rifle: Probably an M1A

Shotgun: a Benelli of some sort. Probably the M4

Handgun: There's a lot. S&W 686, TRR8 or some other Smith eight shot, a Luger P08, a Colt Peacemaker..

I mean geeze. I could go on and on.
Always have clean socks.
