Default Down the drive

My driveway is a little more than 800' long and Saturday when walking to the mailbox I noticed this. The top of a dead tree broke a couple weeks ago and fell and is propped against another tree. Looks like something got a hold of it. Sasquatch? Beaver on meth? I believe a horny buck this way passed, young or old.

I would say it was a beaver if there is water nearby. If a deer had done that the ground would be tore up and there would be no large shavings on the ground. No doubt something stripped the tree but it was not a buck deer. Another thing, deer prefer to sharpen their horns on evergreens such as cedars.

There is a small stream 1/4 mile away but thats it. No beaver ponds that I know of. I may put my game camera there tomorrow in case it comes back. Whatever it was could reach up 4'.

I had to google sasquatch to get the spelling. I hate people that can only spell a word one way.
