it just makes me wonder if TV producers/ companies are told to go out and find the dumbest people handling guns that they can, so we can give the Anti's some more crap on gun owners ...WTH!!!!

If you watched more than just that segment you might know that he never blamed the gun. He blamed himself. He even goes on to tell the kids that you never put anything in front of the muzzle that you don't want to destroy.

Malfunctions happen and accidents happen. He was dehydrated stressed to be out shooting with the kids and a film crew of like 20 people. Im not defending the guy I am just pointing out that you should not open your mouth without seeing the whole thing it just makes you look dumb.

Don't really care what you think of me. I watched the show and he admitted to doing wrong.

What gets me is the last gun they show him shooting before they cut the camera was a rifle. How in the hell did he stick his thumb in front of the rifle barrel?

He said it "misfired". I watched the whole episode. He said "it was the kind of misfire where my thumb was in front of the barrel".

That's bs. It did not "misfire". Yes, he admitted to having his thumb where it should not have been...not like he really had a choice. By the way, I don't recall him saying anything about having broken every rule of firearm safety in the course of shooting himself. I don't know why you feel the need to defend the guy while simultaneously disparaging another forum member.
