Doomsday prepper shoots himself
Anybody see the most recent episode of Doomsday Preppers?
The dad in the first segment has a "malfunction" with his weapon that results in his thumb being severed. They kept talking about this "malfunction", as though the gun blew up or something...no actual footage of the mishap, just the aftermath.
After surgery to reattach his thumb, he is describing it..."it was just one of those things. It was the type of malfunction where my thumb got in front of the barrel".
Yeah...there's a malfunction, alright. But it wasn't the gun.
I HATE tv shows like this. Blame it on the inanimate object!!!

Oh crap, I hope my thumbs don't malfunction on my next range trip. Then I would have to cancel my cross country hitchhiking trip this spring. :-(

ya I only caught part of that, I just don't understand it any circumstances that your thumb would have to go in front of the barrel it sounds more like he went to clear a jam or something and had his hand in front of the barrel. I guess the old rule applies don't point it anything you don't want to destroy, I bet people call him nub...
