"Doing DaVinci" new show on Discovery...
This show is just friggin' cool as ****! Kinda like Mythbusters but they take sketches of machines and inventions that Leonardo DaVinci had drawn during his lifetime. Then they build it and see if it actually works. You can already find videos on Youtube.

Good show aside from the "reality show" overtones, but I am more of a technical kinda guy anyway.

I saw a couple of those last season. Interesting show, though they'd be better if the crews weren't so bitchy and got rid of the "holier-than-thou" attitudes. But then, it seems that every show with any kinds of building going on has a$$holes on it. The family that builds choppers. The brothers in Detroit. These Da Vinci guys. That's why I usually don't continue watching them because I get sick and tired of all the pissing and whining going on.

Because drama gets ratings. If Paul went around telling Mikey he loved him, the show wouldn't run the second week!

I saw where Paul was dropping off Paulie's RZ350, Kenny Roberts Edition and I was drooling. I would LOVE to have one of those!

That's kind of sad. I would have thought that the intricacies of construction would be the main interest but I guess I'm in the minority in that thinking. Oh, well. That's too bad for them because I can (and do) watch other channels or any of the hundreds of DVDs I have that don't involve pissing, whining and other mindless drivel.
