Does a dog poop in the woods? Yes, why yes, he does.

Great pictures. Is that a Beagle? Nose always to the ground.

Rocco is a European stock beagle. He is a great hunting/beater dog. Did you know the the Romans hunted with beagles?

Jager,

Great little Beagle! I assumed that is why you had the leash on him. Without it he would be gone and on trail probably in a split second!
Do you hunt with him?

He is a great rabbit hunter, and he is also a beater for drive hunts. I have insurance on the little rascal. I only take him off the lease during hunts. It is the law.

We had beagle mutt. Let em off leash or they will drive ya crazy. Ours would always circle back to us. beagles bark changes when they've got scent.
