I want to change the factory gauges in my 98 dodge 2500 because i have no tac. Just a big gas gauge. Does anyone know if the mileage will still show to be right after i do change the gauge cluster or will it start over or at whatever the new (to me) gauges left off??

It will pickup at whatever mileage is on the new odometer. You will need to make a note of the mileage on the old odometer in case you decide to sell the truck.

Short of pulling out the old odometer and installing a new one...no.
