No way! That would violate the restraining order!

Been married for 20yrs now and my wife and i get along fantastic. I've purchased many things without discussing it with her. I don't feel i need to, I've purchased a new car without filling her in first. To ask or talk to her about getting a gun to me is ridiculous. I get what i want. We both trust each other's judgements and i don't question her purchases either. We're both level headed and not stupid about our spending. We both work hard and make good money. I've been this way my whole life. Like i said i buy what i want lol... and would never stop her from getting what she wants.

I do not hide anything from my wife. I buy guns. But I always ask if she has paid everything first. If we dont have the money she lets me know. If we do she usally comes along and checks stuff out with me. She is not the fanatic that I am. But she has a ccw and shoots too. She has her own $650 revolver. I bought her what she wanted. She has given me guns and reloading equipment for Christmas and birthdays. She has given me 4 guns that I can think of.

She approves every single firearm purchase I make for myself. SWMBO stays happy, because she has more firearms than I
Seriously, we talk about every major purchase. Sometimes she's the ying, sometimes she's the yang... it just always works.

Been married 6yrs, together for 10. Always had seperate bank accounts and seperate savings. Makes big purchases less annoying.

We've reached the point of if I mention a new gun, her response is usually that she doesn't care what I do as long as I keep it reasonable. I'm beyond the level of need and entirely in the realm of want.
My wife is probably the least materialistic person I know. She never wants or needs anything big. If you include my hunting boots, I own more shoes than she does. Never seen her spend more than $20 on a purse and she uses one until it is literally falling apart.

When we got married, she made a rule that we didn't need each other's consent for a purchase under $500. I've been lucky finding good deals on guns and making some trades here and there.

I actually tick hubby off because I won't buy things when I need them. I 'm weird I guess.
