A lot of left hand shooters here and I'm another one! I do shoot right hand as well as it makes since to be able to shoot with reasonable skill with either hand. In a stressful situation you will go to habbit (your stong side) but like most of life you should have a plan "B".

I shoot with my left and right, both handgun and rifle. I even bought a left handed bow to practice with.
