Do you give your guns names?
I just bought my first gun. She's a Ruger gp100. I have named her "Maggie" because she is chambered for .357 magnum. Not very original, I know. And I DO refer to my gun as Maggie when talking about her to friends. 
Anyone else want to 'fess up to naming their guns?

Good gun ,I also have a GP100 ,no nicknames ,but I use to refer to my Glock 27 as "Little devil" ..not very original either..

I recently was given a rifle that used to belong to my uncle, and to my father before him.
Long before either of them had it, someone scratched "JW" in the stock.
The running joke is that it was John Wayne's gun, so it's called "The Duke".
My daughter named her rifle "Schmee". A couple years back "schmee" was a filler word that you used if you couldn't remember a word you were trying to say (and also means "stuff"). That way if she talked about it around anti-types with her friends, they wouldn't know.
"What are you doing this weekend?"
"Schmee with my mom"

I have and old Stevens model 311A SBS 12 gauge that is my favorite trap shooting gun and sometimes jokingly call it my Billy Baroo ( Gotta watch Caddyshack to understand that).
But no I don’t name guns.

My wife's grandparents have an old 387 that they call Molly. It's pretty common for Molly to go to town with them.
