Nope. I use big cabbage leaves that wrap around really well and I make sure they're packed into the bottom of the crockpot really well. Since I cook it on low all day, they don't really float around the crockpot too much. Plus I throw extra cabbage in anyways because I really like it. If you have a FB page, the recipe for that and others is on my cooking page. There are also recipes/photos from many others as well. Send me a PM if you're interested.

Keilbasa and kraut tonight. Sliced the keilbasa into 3/8 slices and fried them untill crispy. Unorthodox, I know but I like the crisp. A big bag of kraut with lots of caraway seeds. Mix and enjoy the 'basa goodness.

Hubby was just saying last night he wants some kraut and sausage soon. I like it crispy too.
