I love Chinese but we always get it to go. I have a ham in the oven rubbed with brown sugar with cloves in it. The house smells so good. It reminds me of dinners at my Granny's house.

Too danged cold to stand on the deck grillin tonight, so popped a couple sweet taters in the oven, followed by a couple thick Tbones w/ bbq rub seasoning, and french bread. Smells soooooooooo good right now, I can hardly stand it.

OMG!! That was one fine steak! Had a cat practically in my lap wanting some until I gave the pu$$y some scraps to shut her up. Cat used to live with my sister, and picked up bad beggin' habits from Sis's ankle-biters.

To shut her up.....only one of mine begs and he NEVER stops. It's my fault. He's 15 and I've spoiled him.

Hey, I fed him with an eye dropper when he weighed less than a pound. That's my baby. He would fall over when he sneezed because he was so small. He gets whatever he wants from his Momma.

Well, you feeding the cat from your plate won't teach him not to beg. I never give my critters food off my plate. Only in their bowls. Even scraps from meals. You are reinforcing that begging habit.

I had home made split pea soup for dinner. It was incredibly delicious.

In a minute. I'm hyperventilating. I got a new camera and I'm trying to figure out how to use Picasa and post pictures. I vacillate between wanting the throw the camera out the window and exhilaration at a great photo.
