Bone in Rib roast with baked potatoes and vegetables.
Home made squash pie for dessert.
Nice bottle of Coyote Moon, local winery, red wine.
Wonderful family to share it with...

Prime rib, pork tenderloin, garlic mash, and cinnamon apples. That'll put the strongest men in a coma.

Prime rib at my son's house with more fixings than I can list. The sweet potatoes were excellent and must be noted here. We ate ourselves into comas.

Cornish game hens. Cooked for an hour at 350 F, basted with butter twice, and then finished off with 3 min under the broiler for color. Stuffed the cavity with garlic cloves and basil leaves. Baked a couple of sweet potatoes and microwaved some Jolly Green Giant corn and life was good!
We have not had Cornish game hens lately. Time to put them back into the rotation.

I have a pork loin roast simmering in the Crock Pot. It smells good in my house. I'm going to have a salad and steamed broccoli/cauliflower/carrots with it. Anyone want to come over for dinner? There's plenty of food.

i just hope it's as good as our Chinese place we like to eat at!

BTW, have you ever noticed that just about anything you slow cook in a crock pot, just tastes better?

Yeah, the meat cooks more tender but if I'm going to put veggies in with the roast such as carrots, potatoes, onions, I like them roasted with the meat in the oven better. But I just have the meat in the Crock Pot today. Nothing beats oven roasted veggies.

Today I made a ham, crescent rolls, cheesy mashed potatoes, whole berry cranberry sauce, tossed green salad. My daughter and granddaughter came over for dinner. I am vacuum sealing a lot of the ham for future use. I'm going to make split pea soup with the bone.
