My father had a 17 # lobster once. I hate the stuff but he uses one of the claws as his Christmas tree topper!

I don't like lobster as much as I like crab legs. Seventeen pound lobster? That's bigger than a one month old baby.

Yeah. He was a commercial fisherman for most of his like so he likes weird crap like that. He is one hell of a tuna fisherman. He tells me his biggest was 1024# and he caught 54 in one season. I hear that story weekly ... *eyeroll*

It's illegal to catch them now, but I've seen lobster claws as big as my forearm. My friend dives for lobsters and he's seen some huge ones. Make you never want to stick your hand in a cave!!!
