Cook it just like you would cook calamari or even any lean game meat and you will do fine. either of those get ruined in less than a minute of over-cooking.

Huge appetizer plate with wings, cheese sticks, veggies, and other stuff washed down with Fat Tires. Stuffed like a tic!

I've had alligator and I didn't like it. But very likely it was cooked wrong.

For dinner right now I had cauliflower, broccoli and carrots, steamed. Eating a tuna salad sandwich and will eat a banana for dessert.

Even if you hit the cook time and internal temp right on the nose with gator, if you don't prepare it right it's shoe leather.

Mine ain't shoeleather.

The only time I had gator tail, it was deep fried nuggifiyed chunks.
It was chewy and slimey, a lot like poorly cooked calamari.

there was seafood restaraunt we use to go to, that had fried alligator tail andsmoked gator ribs on the buffet. they had frog legs too.

hell, that place had all my favorites in one place! roasted quail, boiled crawfish, oysters on the half shell, fried shrimp, coil boiled shrimp, stuffed crab, blackened catfish, fried oysters, plus lot's more.

the buffet price was $24.95 on the weekends and the food was fresh and damn good eating. sad the place burned down and the owner was in his 80's and decided to not rebuild it.

the place burnt down about 9 or 10 years ago. the food was awesome to say the least. always packed on friday and saturday night. the longest we ever had to wait was maybe 20 minutes to get a table. place had huge windows that looked out over the lake it was next to. i really miss that place.

i gaurantee i ate well over $25 worth of seafood at that place!
