This evening! We are having home made Beef BBQ. Which the beef was marinaded in Jack Daniels for 24 hours prviously. Along with some Wine and home made battered Onion Rings and later Ice Cream!
Not a big dinner but good just the same "Great"! Awaiting our favorite evening shows!
And a drink or two to follow! Now that is living in Tennessee!

I made a Waldorf Salad.
I'll have something else to snack on later.

Last night we had pork chops. broccoli salad, and cottage cheese.

Tonight will be rack of ribs with a dry rub, as for side dishes not sure yet maybe wild mushroom risotto, and fried corn.

This isn't dinner but rather snacks. These mexican thingys are down right habit forming. They are called Duros and you can buy them from vendors already fried or like these buy them and fry them at home. People ususally put them in a bag and shake on a mixture of Chili sause and lime juice or if you want a sweet snack you can put on a mixture of cinnamon and sugar or whatever else that blows your skirt up.

Tonite I'm keeping it simple. We'll be having biscuits and gravy , maybe fried eggs on the side.

I love biscuits and gravy. My wife doesn't care for it much so sometimes I have it while she has something else. I usually brown about half pound of sage sausage before mixing in the flour, milk, salt and pepper. I do cheat on the biscuits and use the frozen ones.

I am cheating tonight by using canned biscuits. This is seriously the first time in at least 3 years since I bought store biscuits. I've been dealing with a head cold and sore throught and really dont feel like dealing with making homemade tonight. I do as you do for gravy but with a whole pound since we're a family of 5.
