I used to make sandwiches with Buddig lunch meats in my poorer days.

Hmmm – good question. Weather is supposed to set in here in NE OK about dinner time; I feel a hankering for rib-eye or pork steak on the grill, but cooking them in raining ice kinda sucks. Maybe – just maybe, I will make the danged ‘ol hide make me something real good inside. Any suggestions?

Oh my! Your missing some of the finer things in life. Go out right now and pick up cans of potted meat, salmon & vienna sausage along with a box of saltines. You can thank me later.

well tonight is going to a bit special. a very close friend of mine and his family opened up a burger joint in town. it's called Hot Rod Burgers. the place is decorated in a hot rod and car style with some throw back to the diners of the 50's and 60's. the menu isn't huge, mainly burgers and hot dogs and homemade fries and onion rings. they just opened about six weeks ago and tonight we will get the chance to eat there. my wife asked me if i thought the food would be good. well i have eaten at my friends Steve's house many times in the past and have eaten his steaks and burgers many times over the years at various cookouts at work and church. i told her Steve was almost as good as i am when it comes to grilling burgers and steaks! so i know it's going to be good.

they have one many of us would enjoy. a hot dog wrapped in bacon, deep fried, put on a hot dog bun, covered in chili, cheese, onions and jalopenas!

so we are going to help support my friend and his family and a new small business and have a great time.
