I eat my dinner early. Today it's going to be meatloaf. I'm hungry just thinking about it.

Voila....my meatloaf. Hamburger, one packet of Lipton Onion Soup, a whole onion chopped, chunks of Velveeta, two eggs, some cream, whole wheat bread crumbs. The last 15 minutes of baking I glazed with ketchup, a dash of mustard, brown sugar and a splash of Worcestershire sauce. Letting it rest for a while then..........eat!!

I have a meatloaf pan that lets the grease drip down into the pan. The meatloaf itself is elevated on a inside pan with holes to let the grease drain.

I really want to make some kebab tonight but my saffron got packed up with the rest of my household goods and its kind of expensive (for good quality saffron) and I can't justify buying it for one dish. Doubt I can find good middle eastern food here so I suppose I'll settle for baked potato soup.

There was a great middle eastern restraunt in West Palm Beach when I lived there.
I'd make a meal out of numerous appetizers and Lebanese wine.

The restaurant is Leila.

Leila is a Persian name :-) There were a few amazing Persian restaurants in San Jose. Such good food!

Are you still in Oklahoma? Go make dinner for Balota. He's sick and isn't getting better very quick. Whip him up some Chicken soup. I am very tempted to take a few days off work and go help him out.

Im a few hours south now, although I'll be up in the area this weekend if he's still sick, I'll absolutely whip up some chicken soup to bring to him.
