it's kind of a New Years tradition here to have black-eyed peas and cabbage on the first day of the year. suppose to bring you good luck and fortune so the legend goes.

Got red beans and smoked pork in the slow cooker, with some carrots, celery and peppers. Should be a tasty dinner.

Tired after work and a big lunch so I just had some popcorn with lots of cold water to wash it down.

A "stuffed spud" a baked potato loaded with brisket and sour cream with butter and shredded cheddar cheese. Smothered in bbq sauce. With a few bites of fried okra as well. Yum!!

i like stuffed baked potatoes. try a taco baked potato. taco meat, cheese and sour cream with salsa.

I don't care for taco meat, the cumin tastes like b.o. smells to me. But I like the idea!
