Chicken satay, Tom Yum soup, beef & chicken in a red pepper sauce.
It's a cold rainy night, went out for Thai.

Did my Hungarian goulash recipe tonight. Paprika seasoned beef cubes simmered in a tomato sauce, mushrooms, a little salt pepper and more paprika. Let it simmer for about 3-4 hours. Cooked up some noodles. Add a little sour cream to the sauce, shrooms and meat right before serving. Poor over the noodles. Grab some warm bread to soak up any left over sauce on your plate. My cardiologist says no, but my gut says oh yeah.

I started smoking 32 lbs sockeye salmon at 6am this morning. I just pulled it off the smoker about 10 min ago. The brine was a sweet bine with 3lbs sugar, 2 cups rock salt, 2 lbs brown sugar, 1 jar molasses, I jar honey, herbs from the yard, and 4 oz of Patron Gold. Is a good recipe. We are going to have a Kobe salad, ultra thin cut prime beef raw, and some of the salmon. Of Coarse the vegies lettuce, tomatoes okra, fennel root and cattail root, for a side of wild artichoke that we canned in August.

Sounds awesome. A nice glass or two of good wine with that and you are set.

GOOD WINE!!??

Home made apple brandy that has been buried in the backyard since Sept 2010 and the wife just made me some lager earlier today.

We both had a good meal and we're a wee bit drunk but feeling good. Now we are over stuffed.

That'll work! I avoid Brandy and real booze as I tend to drink it as I do beer or wine. That could only end badly.
