Home made fillet soup with corn bread, the Mrs. made a big pot last week when it turned cool...gone now. For the debate I picked up a bottle of Captain Morgan Reserve...we will see how I feel in the morning.

Squirrel soup. Debone 3-4 tree rats, simmer in beef broth, mix in 1 can mixed vegetables, 2 cans vegetable beef soup, 2 cups rice, cover and cook on low heat for 20 min. 2nd best recipe for them. Great with fresh homemade bread and butter.

Top sirloin roast, herb crusted in olive oil. Potatoes done the same with carrots. Ky wonder green beans done in onion and butter. The wife doesn't like the salt pork in the beans.

I hope you're cooking it at a low temp for a long time. Then it's not tough.

Nah, not doing the whole fall apart thing. It's a 2lb roast, 1 1/2 at 400 covered. Should be around medium and still fairly tender. Not as tender as the "pot roasts" but sliceable.

We're having sirloin meat too. I make a little concoction that is one of Fathead's favorites.
