It was tasty.
Those "little peas" are capers. I love capers. It's what makes it picatta, wether chicken or veal.

Like adding spinach makes a dish Florentine.

Real homemade Mac-n-Cheese.

Green beans.

Biscuits.

Beer can chicken done w/ root beer. Adds a sweetness we all love.

Dinner w/ some coleslaw thrown in.

Dessert. Brownies.

Alright it was a busy day and the only thing that we cooked was a cherry pie. Keep some of those $1 meals around for the grandkids as they love them. Tired so made one for me. It did have a homemade biscuit from last night and the pie so wasn't all bad.

I love a good cherry pie, and since I have gout, cherry pie is medicine, not dessert!

Tonight I made oven fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Im stuffed and still came in under 1200 total calories for the day. Id call that a success!
