Homemade blueberry pie.

It's a good thing you have that utensil to the left of your dinner plate! You'd need that to keep me off of that BBQ chicken! Oh, BTW, blueberry pie is my all time fav. too!!

Last night my wife decided she wanted some stir fry and that just didn't do it for me so while she was digging out the wok, I pulled out the Griddler. I knew we had the stuff for me to make a Reuben Sandwich and that sounded just right. The first few times I tried this I used the Griddler like a press and the sandwiches always came out kinda crooked or sideways. I found if I put a little Mayo both slices of the rye bread and dropped those on the Griddler mayo side down and put the corned beef on the other side to heat it up while putting the thousand island dressing, swiss cheese and sauerkraut on one piece of bread. Once the bread got the right shade of brown I just stack the corned beef on top of the kraut and roll the other piece of bread on top and there you have a beautiful reuben sandwich and yes it was tasty.

I've been craving a Reuben and that looks delicious.

Anybody want to make a guess as to how many tacos I bought? Some to eat now, some to eat later. And I'm sure the people there thought I was nuts taking pictures inside the JITB.

Thank you. It was very good. I need a Reuben about once a month. If we're in Athens, GA and decide to get something for lunch sometimes we will go to Jason's Deli. I think thats a chain but they have a very good Reuben. Other than that, its time to pull out the Griddler.

Yes, I refer to JITB tacos as disgustingly delicious. LOL The problem with Taco Bell tacos is that it actually looks like there is some sort of ground beef in them. The JITB tacos have some crazy sort of paste that may or may not resemble meat. ROFL

On my way home from Missouri I noticed several JITB that I didn't notice on my way to Missouri. So know I can rest assured whenever I go to Bobski's clay farm I can get these tacos. It has been years since I've had one.

The best Reuben I ever had was in a Jewish Deli in the Roger's Park neighborhood in Chicago. And their pastrami on rye was incredible, too.

we have a JIB less than a half a mile from the shop, and sometimes we will go there and get about $50 worth of those tacos!

we are plumb worthless the rest of the day!

Another deer roast from a deer that my youngest son killed with his bow last weekend.

Pasta salad from last night.

Garlic bread.

Supper is served.

Homemade blueberry pie I didn't get a chance to eat last night. Good stuff.

Oh. I'm so disappointed, Winds.
Jack in the Crack?
I know you're working hard but you're a health care professional, you know what that will do to you.
Please tell me you'll eat better in the future. I can send you care packages.

That being said, I had German style pork chops in a mustard sauce with dumplings and mushrooms, so I guess I have no room to talk, eh?

Hey, that sounds great. I haven't had a JITB taco for years. Let me have my sinful pleasure in peace.
