Going to the Minster, Ohio Octoberfest, cabbage rolls, bratwurst, and a little dark beer.

Tonight I'm staying in at the new house and since my pots & pans aren't here yet, I picked up some cheeses, deli meats, fruit, a good balsamic vinegar, and some good wines.
Manchego, Gran Padana, Emmentaler, Drunken Goat and something else.
Wines- Toscanna, Nero De Avola, Margaux, and a Bordaux.

You may notice a degradation in posts tonight.

I cooked a whole chicken in the Crock Pot with carrots, onions and potatoes. That will feed me for a few days. It was gooooood.

That sounds good, maybe because it's something I've never cooked. I've done them in the oven, but not like a roast with the fixins.

If anyone grills wings, throw them in a crockpot for an hour or two after grilling with choice of sauce drizzled over them. Actually, I prefer legs like this.

I've tried chicken this way. Not a huge fan. I prefer it roasted or fried. Beef or pork in the slow cooker on the other hand! I may have to do a pot roast with veggies this week. Yum.
