LMAO!!!!!

i had an old bulldog once that wandered up to our house. he had seen a very rough life. i don't think he was in very good health and he was old and scarred up. he was around for about three months before he died. i named him Buford. he slobbered a lot! he was very mellow and i only hope that i made his last little bit of time better before he passed. he was a very affectionate dog and it saddened me that he had had such a rough life.

Mkine was abandoned In the Desert south of Phx. and was attacked by either another wild dog, or a Javalina. when he was brought into Maricopa Animal control they thought he was like 4 or 5 years old because he was so big! they didn't recognize that he was an "Olde English" and not a regular English....

You did give him a good last few months. You will be rewarded, I'm sure. We must care for and defend those critters who can't care for and defend themselves. Human and non-human.

Been on a mini vacation to a my best friends house in the hills of Kentucky. No cell phone service or internet. It was a blast. He owns 157 acres on the side of a hill away from just about everything. He loves it and so do I!!!!

Here are a few pics from his house. He asked not to show his house so I won't. These pics are from his porch. Wish i could show more.

The neighor across the road. The only one for a mile.

We cooked up so much food it was sin full. I should have taken way more pics but was enjoying a relaxing time. Here are a couple of suppers and there were great breakfasts every morning. Bisquits, sausage, bacon, eggs, gravy and more.

Beer can chicken.

Here is a piece of deer backstrap marinated in a Jack Daniels marinade. 7 minutes a side on a hot grill. Turns out medium rare and is as good or better than any London broil.

Thanks and we had great food all weekend. The breakfasts would have blown ya'll away. We eat good here in ol' Ky. I should have taken pics of the other supper. Smoked beef brisket and all the fixings. We ate watermelon, cantelope, blackberries straight from the vine, cole slaw, potato salad, bisquits, rolls, swiss chocolate, homemade ice cream, grilled meat, smoked meat and every thing you can imagine. What a great time. Still managed to shoot a 1,000 rds of .223, .38 super, 9mm, .45 auto mostly in 1911's. I own a few ya know. Shot 550 rds of .22 also.
