I used to have a sourdough starter. It was like taking care of a pet. You had to "feed" it some sugar and flour every couple days. It made the best bread and pancakes. I eventually just used it all in cooking. I could start another one, though, but I'm not as available to bake as I was when I stayed home with the kids. This working concept sucks sometimes. LOL

We hit up every store, as we do every year, while they are on sale and limit 2 per person. We got 20 CB point cuts this year. We like to have it every couple of weeks. For St. Patty's day being so close to both of our B-Days we buy a whole brisket and make our own. We started the one we juat ate abou a month and a half ago.
Its just like making Sauer Brauten, we close to it which is another of our favorite dishes. We mine a least. The wife will eat it only beacuse she knows that I really like it and will make it anyway and force her to eat it. LOL

Sauteed sausage with garlic and onions, tossed in some veggies and then added noodles and cheese. Yum and it smells great in here!! I make a nice sized batch so we can have it for lunch too.

At work right now, but my MIL made me some venison meatloaf out of ground backstrap and sausage. With rice and corn. Damn good food.
