No replacement at fort campbell we had to go the range because the division was deployed in dec05. She was 2 in front of me and BANG right into the clearing barrel...I got hit with sand from the impact, then thanked god that I joined the Infantry and don't have to deal with people who don't use weapons everyday.
I knew a guy in the Army who negligently discharged a .45 round while removing the weapon from his holster, and blew a hole in a very expensive base station tactical radio unit.
Needless to say, his superiors were QUITE displeased.
