This place isn't very lively. I'll tell my my buddies about it and try to get some more people visiting.

Give it a little time first, I am happy to see a new forum up. Firearm specific sites like ARF.com, or Glock Talk get boring fast. While I haunt THR the most that place really needs some new life infused into it. I will be interested to see how many familiar names pop up here in the next few weeks.

I'm actually surprised at all the activity. I haven't done any real advertising and the forum has only been working a couple days now.

I want to get all the kinks out before going real public with it.

This is my first firearms website so any advice on how to get the word out would be very helpful.

Default Links from other gun sites will be very helpful

Any place that caters to enthusiasts of any sport / hobby will do well, IMHO.
You have an easy, interesting format and a GREAT subject.

Forums are really hard to start. I started a forum awhile back on techno music and I could never get it popular. If everyone just tells a couple friends and they tell friends then your good to go. Get listed with Google as well.

So here's an ancient thread. I see Notdku is the only guy in this thread still with us.

Techno is dead, except for maybe in Europe.

And this place wasn't lively.

What else?
