Daughters Birthday

My daughter will be turning 3 in a few days. Since she could walk and talk she has liked to help me with guns and every now and then she likes to shoot (pull the trigger). So I asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she said a gun. I figured I would get her SUR with the current administration. I found a company (superior arms) that does custom and engraving and serial numbers. It will have her name on the side and the serial number willbe her birthday. I am getting her a stripped lower so that we can build it together (she will hand me the parts and tools). Just wanted to share that with you all.

You know what laynejc, that is a really cool idea. Who knows if she will ever want the weapon when she hits her teens and later on it life, but it's a great idea that will ALWAYS be there for her, if she ever needs it.

Plus one on that idea and intention.

Happy Birthday to your Daughter from the Dillinger Household!

If I got her any other gun, she could always sell it when she got older. I thought if it had her name and birthdate on it she probably wouldnt be able to. I guess Ill have to spring for some pink furniture for her. I cant seem to get her to like the OD green, or coyote tan.;) but she will be the one shooting it not me.

Super cool idea. Start her off right. Teach her to change her own oil and fend for herself. When she is older she will not feel compelled to find a man to take care of her or protect her. She will be self reliant and MUCH more likely to find a man she can share her life with as a partner.

Pink furniture will serve her well if she ever moves to San Francisco. That is considered urban camo in SF.

Good thinking, something that will give her great memories of you for the rest of her life. You are a good Dad

If you take her shooting, 1 shot at a time.

She's gonna drive every boyfriend crazy later in life with, "My dad does it this way". That's cool.

Keep in mind how active and 'get into everything' 3 year olds can be.

Good dad, and mentor. :)
