A coyote howl is a strange thing. They can sound VERY close and actually be a mile away. I have a 1000+ acre tract across the street from me and can hear them every time a siren goes by. They sound like they are less than 100 yards away, but I really am not sure.

The eeriest is when they sound like they have just made a kill. The sounds from Hell must be similar.

When they are going after and attacking a rabbit...

If anyone wants to hear something you can't unhear, listen to a rabbit distress call. How can something so cute, fuzzy and yummy make sounds you'd swear was coming from the house of 1000 corpses?

Stop it. This "sounds of death" thing is stoking a fire in my naughty bits.
