Thats why cb shorts or aguila 20gr primer only work so well. No noise no one knows. If theres such a worry about it a nice break barrel .22cal will also do the job.

What they don't know won't hurt them.

I hope everyone knows that if you shoot a coyote (or the whole family) it is only a temporary fix. If there is a coyote food source there, more will move in. Plus whoever mentioned the owls is correct they eat cats.

I cant imagine that an air rifle would do anything but draw a little blood from a coyote but idk depends on the muzzle velocity.

If its under $100.00 it probably has a fairly low FPS. If you're actually planning on getting an air rifle for hunting, you should invest in one that's over 500FPS unless your well under 100yards.

There's people who use big bore air rifles on deer. Their usually a .45 or .50 pellet though and are more the just a standard plat head.

You want to get rid of the coyotes? Buy a Great Pyrennes Mountain dog. I have 71 acres with four Great Pyrennes; therefore, no coyotes.
