Anyway, I think female cats make better mousers than males. Just my personal observation. I don't know if it's true or not. But, of course, make sure she's spayed.
Females don't seem to roam as much as males, and get the ones close to home.

We have the neighbors cats now and they are all over the place. Cat prints on the vehicles and you can not leave a window down. Will be taking a couple to the pound soon before they all get pregnant. We feed them occasionally in hopes they will become better mousers.

Thank you for taking them to the pound and not shooting them. Responsible pet owners have their pets spayed or neutered to prevent unwanted litters and adding to the pet population. I don't mind cat prints on my car. They wash off just like bird poop does. But I sure wouldn't leave a window open. If they potty in your car, that's a whole 'nother story. I had a friend who had a cat pee in her car. She never could get that smell out.

If its not too late, tell her try a bottle of rubbing alcohol. It works on urine soaked kids mattress by killing the bacteria that causes the smell. Just dump it on and let dry.

This was years ago. Actually, nowadays they make a product called "Nature's Miracle" that works by 'digesting' the bacteria in the urine that makes that smell.

Feral cats are a plague and should be dealt w accordingly. ASU had a huge problem w it in the 80s. Students leave n just abandoned their cats. Admin tried everything from poison to prof hunters to no avail. The Budget deficit was alarming - perhaps even governmental.

Cat dander, urine & feces in concentration is actually toxic to humans. Buildings have air currents and one cat loose in the air ducts can contaminate a whole building in short order - especially for people with allergies. respirators were deemed necessary for some infestations.

I do "get it" - people love their household pets - but they must also be responsible for them. ASU spent a Huge chunk of change trying to limit the damage of other peoples irresponsibility.

AZ - was also one of the first states to attempt to legislate a liability clause for being stupid. Example: No crossing - intermittent stream sign posted. Idiot ignores sign, tries to cross and is caught in river. Need helicopter to rescue him. Idiot gets bill for helicopter, fuel , maintenance & labor.

Taxpayers will no longer get stuck w the tab.

In the Arizona game laws it used to list feral cats as open season with no restrictions. But to be politically correct that statement was removed some time ago. Now it does not mention cats at all. Loose cats (both pets and feral) kill over 2 BILLION birds and over 2 BILLION mammals per year according to the latest study by the US Fish & Wildlife service. In Ohio they found the favorite food of cats was pheasants(no not baby pheasants). Cats are like humans and kill for fun. Cats torture their prey for several hours sometimes. My old hunting partner works for the state he lives in. A big part of his job is to shoot cats and dogs(he is good at it). He uses a shotgun issued by the state. 6 shot for cats and #4 buck for dogs. He has never killed anyone's pets as people would NEVER let their pets run free. I know your little Bootsy would never hurt a flea. But cats are killers. If I come across a cat and a coyote, I know which one I would shoot first.

I still don't -- stoners go to Taco Bell? That's like a known "thing"? Why -- why does everything have to get ruined?

Can't Taco Bell just be a place for cheap gooey bland phoney Mexican food with TVP meat extender!? I don't care. I'm still tryin' to figure out what the hell refried beans are and why the stuff wrapped in a thin pancake can have different names: taco, enchilada, burrito, quesadilla... For cryin' out loud! And now this.

I want my country back you bastards!

If you are worried about coyotes eating your cat. Well then get a cat that eats coyotes. And carry your kitty every where you go.
