I have an Uberti Walker-Colt and an Uberti Model P (Peacemaker replica). I am very happy with both of these revolvers. My opinion is that they are both very high quality pistols and can be had for a reasonable price. They are very faithful reproductions of the original Colts.
I have VERY large hands (2XXL glove size) and had always shied away from "cowboy" pistols as their grips were just too small for my ham sized fists. When I was looking for a 1870's era revolver to shoot Black Powder cartridges, I first looked at the Rugers, but the grips were just not a good fit for me, and I could not get comfortable with the pistol. I got my hands on (literally) on a Uberti Model P, and while it is hard to see the difference it just fit my hand better and felt right. So I bought one. I really like this gun, and it shoots very well!
The Uberti Walker is also a fine piece and a real hoot to shoot, it is a real attention getter at the range.
