Yíall donít know this but my first wife was killed in January of 1982 and my son (3 years old) was with her. Nathan survived with a compound fracture of his left femur but he lived.

George Strait's "Best Day of My Life" hits me hard and I have trouble listening to it. My son is now 31 and has two boys of his own and I still get tight in the chest when I see him and the boys together.

Jesus Christ Scubie! My heavily late and heartfelt condolences.

I am very sorry to hear that and I am sure this is the type of wound that can never heal.

If you want this cleaned up, or moved to the Bunker, let me know.

I'm really sorry to read this, mate. I honestly don't know what to say, other than I'm glad your little boy survived and built a family.

I am so sorry that happened. I am glad your son now has kids of his own. That is hard to go through and I am glad you made it through that and you are here with us today

JD,

Thanks, but no, it's a part of my life and happened many years ago. It's the God's way of getting me to get my priorities straight and letting me know what is really important in life, then Glass came into my life. You can't really know joy unless at sometime you know despair and hurt. I'm lucky I was able to learn and understand... some people never do.

Life is precious and can be gone in a moment. Thatís why I donít wait to do things I want to do and I encourage my boys to do it also. If you want to skydive Ö. Do it donít put it off, if you want to fly a planeÖ. Do it donít put it off. I hear so many people say ďI have always wanted to do thatĒ but they never did. Time, life is short and Iím not going to miss out on anything.
