They did recapture the guy, but seriously?

This was obviously not your "normal" criminal if he had a handcuff key that was hidden and ready for use.

I would put forth that if he did not use said key in the drive thru, he would have used it elsewhere along the way.

Having said that, I think the cops' resignation says enough about the situation.

I’m kind of confused on something. The picture shown in the article shows what looks to be a normal police cruiser and all of ours are set where the subject in question can’t open the back door and get out just for this kind of situation.
