The PPS and MP-40 Sgt. Steiner (James Colburn) carried in Cross of Iron.
The Russian front. Great movie and book!!!

Paladin was the classiest of all the TV gunfighters. His "handmade Hamilton" was actually a Colt.

In Aliens (II) the Marines were armed with "standard 10mm caseless pulse rifles." They were made from an upper casing using a .45 caliber M1 Thompson submachine gun, the lower is a Remington 870 12-gauge pump shotgun with a Franchi SPAS-12 shotgun exterior put on it.
