Malware will set your proxy settings to try and fool the user into believing their software which is actually a virus can repair it for ONLY 39.99!! If your confident that your machine is clean reset your proxy settings. had an elderly woman last week that was fooled, gave them her CC # it charged her 39.99 till it couldn't anymore, 39.99 42 times till her account was cleaned out. After that, completely reset IE under advanced options. That'll reset internet settings as well as flush any add-ons or customization.

Now that I'm semi-retired Windows provides my ammo money. I like to mess with Linux but as rare as it is there's no money there. I can't see me going Mac, but I did just buy my first Glock. Who knows?

Try pear linux. Looks and acts like OSX but its better.
