Thanks for all of the great advise from all who responded and I thank you. I did get the issue resolved today.
C-3 you advised sometimes you were experiencing the same problem. You may have the same issue I did. It started out just by stating Window Internet Explorer had shut down and was restarting. Then as a couple of weeks went by a couple of days ago it would no longer let me on the Internet at all. The issue is that I had recently downloaded a new update as advised on the Internet for Windows Internet Explorer 9. It is not compatible with the systems because it is new and they admitted it had some glitches that had to be worked out. Of course! Why would they have the pop up advise of the recent upgrade and to download it ???? I deleted the Internet Explorer 9 and went back to 8 and everything cured it self immediately. Of course had to pay for the service to diagnose the problem this after I had taken it into an office store who thought they fixed it! WRONG! But it is fixed now and I thought I would share it with any who have downloaded the Internet Explorer 9 recently and are having issues with Internet Explorer stopping.
Thanks Again! I will also note the suggestions for future reference!

Macs are way over priced for what you get. I can't see paying 3 times as much for less performance and so much stricter control on everything with the OS. Plus more and more viruses and malware are hitting the internet.

Windows had more viruses because it had 90+% market share. Now that everyone thinks mac is so wonderful it is gaining market share and with that it is getting a big target.

If they don't get viruses and problems why did Apple just change its NO virus boast? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/06/25/mac-virus-apple_n_1625110.html

HUMMMMMMMM

Of course Apple's way of dealing with a mac virus was to tell owners "There is no virus" and refusing to perform any customer support.

Mac's OSX is more secure than windows because Apple doesn't allow the software to be install on anything but the hardware they choose for you. Windows has to be more open as an OS because it has to work on everything from a built at home machine to a $25,000 Server.

I access my checking and credit accounts twice daily. My wife manages her restaurant accounts daily too. We both love shopping online.. almost twice a week. Not to mention, i love torrents. I didn't install any anti virus program in our iMac & MBP. And yet nothing happened and everything runs smooth and fast. Rather than when i was on Windows. Self to each own i guess. Sorry if this post is unirrelevant to the thread.

Sorry- that was too easy! Yeah, it's a glitch in IE, mine does it too.
So you have trouble with IE from watching porn on your computer?

I access my banking, credit cards, and stuff for shopping, and much much more. I run Microsoft's free antivirus program and in 4 years have not had a single problem.

the problem lies in the users users are dumb. They don't run updates because it makes them restart the computer. They don't run AV programs because they bought a budget PC and want to play MMORPG games and the AV program slows them down. They don't use firefox that I install for them with Ad Block Plus and they open every stinking email that comes in their inbox.

Mac's are great for users. they are slow and steady easy to use and chug right along.

PC's are for people who want to customize their user experience. I can build my own PC which I am in the process of doing. It is going to be 16gb RAM 12TB HDD space smoking fast monster that will do anything and everything. I can hook into 4 of my buddies PC's and we can share digital content between up on a VPN network.

Try building a Mac. Oh wait you CAN'T. If you get caught using OSX on non-Mac hardware they will SUE you.

Apple's mobile devices lag behind Android devices as well. Siri wasn't apple first android had voice commands before apple did. Then if you make a tablet device like Samsung did that is faster, better, lighter then an ipad Apple will sue you.

Unfortunately the one thing that Apple did do right was the iPod and iPod touch. So I still have one of them it sits in my closet for now.

Oh the battery is getting low on my laptop let me change it out. Try doing that on a MBP. Oh wait users are too stupid to change a battery.

I use my computer DAILY for everything from gaming to fixing other computers and have not run into any of the five (5) Linux viruses. So, I don't even consider Mac to be a viable option as a desktop. Linux offers the same benefits as a Mac and then some.

OP, sorry your thread got jacked. I would suggest that you listen to the others and try a different browser. In addition to that, I would check your "internet options" for any proxy settings. Sometimes the more clever malware will set proxy settings to route all the internet traffic through a sever to spy on you and mess with you like that.
