Default Computer Issues

Has anyone recently had a situation with their computer where their Microsoft Internet Explorer has stopped working and refuses to allow you to go on the Internet. Or if it permits you to go on the Internet immediately following the Screen pops up advising the Internet Explorer has stopped working. There is a reason I am asking this question and just looking to see if anyone else on the FTF has had this happen recently?

Happens when you watch porn on the computer.

Sorry- that was too easy! Yeah, it's a glitch in IE, mine does it too.

Recently had that happen all the time...turns out the cable internet provider, Comcast, had loaded some anti-spam software that was incompatible with my version of IE. Once I deleted it and cleaned the registry everything straightened out.

There was talk of a virus being activated in early July that was pointing to false DNS sites, the FBI took the false sites offline so if your Explorer is still infected to go to the spoof sites you may not be able to get online.

First thing you should do is run Microsoft updates update.Microsoft.com

See if that fixes your problem. If not then....

Go to adobe.com and update your flash and shockwave players. I would also visit Java.com and up date your Java as well.

Also try using Firefox of google chrome and running ad block plus on all browsers. Ad block will block all adds from your browser and keep many bad little bugs planted in ads away from your system.

I had this issue several times. Then I stopped using IE 9, as I found a way to delete it from computer. And since then I've been using IE 8 with no adverse issue whatsoever.

Default Explorer is Cr*p

Chrome or Firefox are better, faster and far less bugs
