DefaultCold Steel pole axe on clearance @ $30

For those who like medieval weapons, this is a real bargain, and it'll soon be gone.

This isn't a wall-hanger; it's the real deal, a forged-steel, differentially tempered fighting axe with a "war hammer" backspike. Think of it as a two-handed tomahawk on steroids. I have collected medieval weapons (they're ALWAYS loaded), and this is the best battle-axe I've ever seen. I cut the pole down to 36" and ditched the langets, and the result is formidable.

Cold Steel makes some great products, and this is one of them. If you like edged weapons, this is a must.

Just ordered one. I collect battle-ready medieval and renaissance weaponry, too.

What is it about Gun owners that seems to make them like what most people would consider odd hobbies?
I like guns, Homebrewing, Jeeps, Archery and I study, and do some beginner level teaching, Rennaisance swordsmanship.

BTW I love Cold Steel's stuff! Well made and reasonably priced. I wish that I could justify the Pole axe right now.

Justifications:

(1) It's the best heavy battle axe ever made.

(2) It's on sale at an outrageously low price.

(3) It will soon be unavailable at ANY price.

How's that?

(I know it's stupid; my father would have said "about as practical as t*ts on a boar hog." But ain't it COOL?)

You'll be kicking yourself for passing up a good deal.

Yeah, but you can get over that pretty easily.

I think you would have been better off getting to machetes for $10... A lot more useful!

Do you tell blackpowder shooters that they'd be better off buying Glocks?

I would rather have a suit of full size armor to stand in the corner. The only other thing stopping me other than the price$$ is my wife.
