Are you saying patriotic exremism is a good thing?
Waving flags and having them outside your front door is all good but it's not a measure of how patriotic you are. Patriotism is a great way of gov.ts to Control the people's Will. You guys are indoctrinated from a very early age through schools and media and so on. In some ways it's good thing in others it can mean blind obedience and lack of objectivity.
We sometimes lack the cohesion in our society that patriotism brings especially when it come to belonging I.e we've had far too many of our people go through guatmo than we should. But is what you do when it counts and we have done what it takes for the last thousand years, to prove it.
In terms of democracy you guys have a far better system than we do, the monarchy has no bearing as they are a figure head only.
Your constitution was inspired by our magnacarta you did good things with it we ignored it.
When you say your the greatest country, based on what criteria?
My point is Patriotism should not mean arrogance but humility.
. Don't just shoot the guns, walk were we walk (or don't ) and see what we deal with. Soft judges on criminals, we need some justice!
