i've had alot of good cigars & alot of bad ones, suprisingly some of the "bad" ones were bargain priced ones from the acclaimed brands like arturo fuente & macanudo. smokes are alot like beer & wine, just because people tell you it's good doesn't mean you're gonna like it.
If they were the Fuente Curlyheads, I agree that they're crappy -- they are about the cheapest in the Fuente line, and pretty sad. But generally Fuente makes more cigars than I like than ones I dislike.

I'm not a big fan of Macanudo's, as I like a medium to full-bodied smoke, and historically Mac's were too light for my taste, but lately they've been expanding their line with a couple of fuller bodied cigars with a more complex taste that are pretty tasty.

Hopefully this is one of those "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar" moments.

Thanks Asmel.
The next time I will take with me some Cohibas Espelendidos and a couple of Partagas, maybe, if I don´t smoke them first a couple of Romeo y Julieta Churchills...
Already bought another bottle of Cacique 500 rum for you Cane...

Gurka beauties (never had a bad Gurka). Cigars International will sometimes have them on special in odd sizes otherwise I like the re released 1959 Cuban torpedo they sell. Great company to get cigars from. Warm Summer morning, on a calm quiet lake, fishing pole in one hand and a good cigar in the other, little piece of heaven.

A client of mine who lives out of the country just sent me a box of Cuban Cohiba Sigio III's. This client is not a cigar person, and when he told me what he was sending I was skeptical as to whether or not they would be genuine Cubans. But when they arrived I was pleasantly surprised -- triple capped, the label looked good, and they were a good smoke. I kept a few for my humidor, but passed the rest of them around to my buddies from my local cigar shop.

I was never a cigar smoker until a friend gave me 6 Makers Mark cigars and a Bottle of Makers Mark for my 75th birthday, I am now hooked on both.
