Congrats. I got my wife a 9mm Shield earlier this December and she (and I) love it.

Very nice. I love mine. It's a very accurate rifle and easily digests shorts or Long Rifle.

My Kimber Pro Crimson Carry 2.
I ran 50 rounds through it today its accurate and a bit snappier than a full size.
I was surprised at how tight and stiff it is probably the 22lb. recoil spring has something to do with that.
I'm going to give it a better workout tomorrow.

Went to the range ran 100 rounds of WWB had three failures to feed, Kimber does warn you that there is a break in period and I'm not near that yet. I then switched to Federal 185 gr. HP and ran 40 rounds with no failures of any kind.
I'm delighted as I just bought a 1000 rounds from Bulk Ammo. I found the recoil to be a bit stout compared to my Para-P10 and even my Mil-Pro I suspect because they are both double stack and thicker through the grip. I then tried the laser at 10 and 15 yards and no adjustment was needed (good thing I left the wrenches home) it was maybe a tad high but I was getting tired so good enough for now. I'll post some range pics next time out but overall I'm a happy camper at this junction. I must say for the cost of the gun the one year warranty and one magazine seems inappropriate but it is well made and finished and my Lady bought it for me hey life s good

Pasq,

And the other issue is WWB is not service ammunition and is not as hot as self defense ammuniton you fired afterward! And with that being a break in on the new gun! As I am sure you are aware, the failures is of little concern at this point. I as you, I am sure whould much rather it function flawlessly with defense ammunition at this point. But after break in it should shoot the WWB OK! Very Nice Pistol I might add! Are you "Tired of it YET"? I would gladly find it a new home! Great Pistol!
